  1. It wasn’t funny and hinged itself entirely on stereotypes of the basic white gay male, which is exactly who Eichner is… but casting every internet-famous-gay isn’t going to make this picture relatable. The film maker seemed uncomfortable with any subject matter that wasn’t seen thru the white male gayze, and all the pieces it shoved in to try & garner this sheen of intersectionality came across as insincere, and an after thought in the story-making process. Oh well, we got the self congratulation of being the first at something over with, let’s move on and make something good. Glad several queers got a paycheck tho!

  2. Famous actors draw a crowd. Unfortunately, Eichner is not a famous actor. He’s also loud and insufferable.

Studios should stick to casting famous actors (straight or gay) as gay leads.

  3. It was a funny film surprisingly. I enjoyed it.

  4. Maybe if Billy Eichner didn’t regularly insult and degrade half of the country with his political rants he would have more fans and more people inclined to see his movies.

    • So people shouldn’t be open about politics? that wounds stupid. We should stay in the closet with political beliefs. I mean i get it if you’re a dumb trumper, but your comment sounds ridiculous.
It’s just not a film for everyone. Too many love crap like super hero movies, boring romance, comedy crap.
It was a film making fun of all of that. That’s why it was a very good film. It laughed at all of it.

      • Has nothing to do with politics. Him insinuating that your homophobic by not watch it was the problem. Him aggressively insulting people was the problem. If America was so homophobic Brokeback Mountain would not have did what it did.

Don’t blame straight folks for its failure. Most straight dudes don’t even go see straight rom coms let alone gay ones with an insufferable c#nt like Billy Eichner. Keep on blaming Trumpers for everything. Rent free… How about blaming the gays and their f@g hags that didn’t show up for the movie? Huh?

It’s not so much that it has a gay storyline. The fact is people don’t go to the movies that much anymore. They go during the summer months to see superheroes, that’s about it. People like myself would rather stay home and stream a film. That’s where “BROS” should have gone. That’s where it will land by next month.

  6. He should have made it available on prime or a streaming platform. Some are still in the closet.
