Nick Cannon Doesn’t Think The Mothers Of His Eight Children Need To Get Along

A list of Nick Cannon‘s children includes, but is not limited to: 10-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with his ex-wife Mariah Carey; 5-year-old son Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; and 9-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa. He also tragically lost his 5-month-old son, Zen–who he had with Alyssa Scott–to brain cancer last year. Nick also has another child on the way with Bre Ties. So there are five women who have procreated with Nick Cannon and he says that his children’s mothers don’t need to like each other because he’s all that matters.

Nick was on The Big Tigger Morning Show on V-103 last week and talked about life as a father. Which is his brand now. 41-year-old Nick says in the interview that his children’s mothers “don’t have to” get along which is delusional in itself because… girl… I mean, technically I guess he’s right but them not getting along doesn’t make parenting any easier–ask a family court lawyer. But then Nick also says that he “didn’t set out” for this to happen–him becoming a father to so many kids. Which is news to me, because I swear he explicitly said he was doing this on purpose? I call perjury, your honor! via People:

Asked whether “all the baby mamas get along,” Cannon replied, “They don’t have to, they all get along with me.”

When the radio host brought up that Cannon takes maternity photos with each of the mothers, Cannon said he believes “everyone deserves that.”

“I don’t keep no secrets. They know how I move. I multitask,” he added.

As for whether Cannon sees any additional kids in his future, he quipped, “Isn’t there always?”

“My bag was different back then. I just want to be responsible as a father … I didn’t set out [for this to happen] … I just want to be the best father I can possibly be, and lean into it,” he continued. “I embrace all my children, I love children, but I wasn’t setting out to be Father Abraham, I just embrace it.”

“A lot of people have a lot of children as well and they kinda keep it quiet or they don’t talk about it, I lean into mine,” he said.

Oh, holy goddess–I thought Nick got a vasectomy consultation; now he’s open to more accidental/on-purpose kids? Stop the madness.

I have a feeling that these women will probably get along fine. I see them all bonding over a common reality of the father of their children being a dumbass. Like Sister Wives but instead of all of them being in love with the same guy, they all get pissed off by him. An eternal bond, if I’ve ever heard of one!
