Lady A's Charles Kelley Thanks Fans for Support During Sobriety Journey After Postponing Tour

Charles Kelley is thanking fans for all of their support.

Earlier this month, Charles, 40, and his Lady A band mates announced that they were postponing their Request Line Tour until next summer as Charles focuses on his sobriety.

On Friday (August 12), Charles took to social media to thank his fans for all of their love and support amid his journey.

“I want to thank everyone who has shown me so much support and encouragement so far on my journey of sobriety. Y’alls kind words have meant the world to me and really lifted me up over the past few weeks,” Charles wrote on Instagram along with a selfie at the beach with wife Cassie and their 6-year-old son Ward.

“I can’t wait to get back on the road with Lady A next year,” Charles continued. “Getting on that stage and being able to see, hear and feel everything through a clearer lens is going to be a gift that I won’t take for granted. ⁣I’m grateful for this time to focus on my family and my health.⁣ Love, Charles.”
