We are looking for an SEO who can lead our strategy and seek outcomes, not just output.

Seeking an SEO with a proactive mindset and an advanced understanding of intent. You need to be able to see the paths of awareness our users go through, and know how to apply SEO to our specific situation. 

Our diverse team is fully remote and based in the US, Central Europe, and Asia.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Some of your day-to-day tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Optimizing existing page content based on page correlation tools (Page Optimizer Pro)
  • Keyword research in dialogue with the product team
  • Writing the SEO element of content briefs – teamed with our editor & content manager
  • Identifying and creating internal link structure for our content based on content clusters
  • Link gap analysis to determine which article to prioritize for next link targets
  • Setting up target anchor texts for new incoming links
  • Schema audit & implementation
  • Monitoring traffic performance in Google Analytics and Search Console

Long term responsibilities will include:

  • Improving an overall content SEO strategy for the brand
  • Improving an overall off-page SEO strategy for the brand
  • Competition analysis
  • Improving the existing SEO tactics of how to achieve short term and long term KPIs (traffic+revenue)
  • Monthly Technical Audit: Check up on broken links, orphaned pages, indexability issues, redirects, schema…

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a deep understanding and experience with on-page and off-page optimization with the usual SEO tools stack
  • You have experience in on-site link strategies. (not link building, this is not an outreach job)
  • Has experience with technical SEO. This is not a tech SEO position, however, as a Lead SEO, we expect you to know the best practices when it comes to website architecture and technical optimization.
  • Preferably has experience with content strategy and setting a long-term plan.
  • Deep Experience with performance tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Customer Support & Marketing Assistant

We are a fast-growing SaaS company focused on offering a market-leading service to expecting moms and families who are far apart. Our business is all about facilitating joy and ease for new moms. 

Customer word-of-mouth drives our growth. We are looking for someone experienced in doing customer support to an audience of millennial women. Brand outreach or social media community experience are also valuable. We are not a high volume support center, each customer matters and we focus on positive outcomes not speed.

Your main role is to support our customers via our email support system (GrooveHQ). This requires making them feel heard and solving their issue or question at hand. Great written communication skills a must. Often our customers are hosts, or pregnant mothers and feel some anxiety about the baby shower event, you should have experience keeping a positive mindset and answering questions on the first response.

Our Customer Support lead also get ideas from customers for new articles or features and discusses with the team. They are our first contact with customers and communicate daily with the entire team.

While we are based in Asheville NC, our diverse team is fully remote.

The customer support lead often helps out in other ways in the company, like helping report bugs, checking online forums, and some email correspondence. This job can expand with your skills.

While the Customer Support role requires 10-20 hours weekly, this role can be full time for applicants able to assist us in other ways.
