For the technologically challenged, newfangled computers and other machinery can be awfully stressful. How am I supposed to know the difference between RAM and ROM?! My knowledge is limited to “googling computers for dummies” when I can’t understand the witchcraft that goes on behind my screen. There are dozens of us out there including meteorologist Greg Dutra. While he might know everything there is to know about cumulonimbus clouds, he apparently isn’t as familiar with touchscreens.

Greg was doing his usual weather report for a local Chicago station, when he mistakenly touched the screen behind him. To his pleasant surprise, it moved. Taken aback by the magic of the touchscreen, he tried it once again to see if it was real. And wouldya know it, it was! Greg’s excitement was so infectious that one of the anchors, Terrell Brown, got up from his desk to test it out as well and subsequently broke into hysterics. Here’s the revelatory moment:

Greg’s tweet went viral on Twitter, Reddit, and beyond as people loved the two professional TV people’s wholesome reaction:

About his newfound fame, Greg only had this to say:

We don’t often get wholesome news, so this is a breath of fresh air. As Greg says in the video, “It’s a great day!” So, enjoy YOUR day and don’t be too scared of using that touchscreen in McDonald’s! (Or maybe do. They’re kind of gross).
