Product Description

Bounce into a world of fun and create your own Glow-in-the-Dark Power Balls with the new and improved Made By Me set! First, decide which mold you’d like to use to create your first power ball — round or hexagon? Then, pick from 18 bags of crystals to make your design! Carefully pour the crystals into the funnel at the top of the funnel — don’t fill it all the way up, so your power ball bounces as high as can be! Submerge the mold in warm water, let it sit for ten minutes, then pinch the tabs or gently un-snap the mold, and have a ball! Drop your power ball on a clean, flat surface to see how high it bounces, then create more power balls for bouncing competitions with your friends!

We found out that you can make bouncy balls from out little passports subscription but it only had enough for two balls. My daughter was so sad so I found this one intending just to get the granules because we already had a mold. The mold in this set are VERY small. You can see the size difference in the picture. The darker color one is from little passports. The colors in this Amazon kit are so bright and fun for kids (my daughter is 8). The glow in the dark is AMAZING! As you will see in the video. We followed the instructions from our other kit and the balls came out perfect. Heat up water to close to boiling. Dip the mold (parent participation) and twist a few times then drop it in the cup. Let it sit 5 min and then take it out. Let it sit 5 more minutes on a paper towel and then remove i from the mold! I will buy this kit again and again! The only negative things I have to say is that the molds are too small and the round one didn’t work AT ALL! One side was way too small and never fit together. Regardless, it was so fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars FUN for kids and adults
Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2015
I love these. My 3 year old daughter and I had a great time making these and the balls come out great! They are super easy to make and only take 3 minutes. Kept her very busy for a while and she liked how they glow in the dark. Two problems with this: they only come with the small molds and one of the molds is oddly shaped, we don't like that one. The small round mold is fine, but other ones come with the large molds that make super big balls (like in the picture attached). Also after a couple of days the balls get hard as rocks and need to be tossed (all of them do this), but still worth it! I know I may be biased, but I think my balls are beautiful :-P

1.0 out of 5 stars They don’t stay bouncy - harden into rock
Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2022
They don’t stay bouncy. At first they came out pretty cute. The molds are a little tricky to use and it’s hard to get the top of the ball to come out the same shape as the rest, but I chalked those those things up to it being a fairly inexpensive DIY kit. Wasn’t looking for perfection, just fun. The balls come out tacky at first like the instructions say, but after another little while they’re just right and fun for the rest of the day. Problem is, they don’t stop drying. After a couple days they were as hard as rocks. I thought about putting them in water to see if that would soften them up again, but I figured they’d be tacky as well, and besides that it’s not really something I want to spend my time worrying about. Oh, and only a couple packets of the little beads glow, so you either only one or two glow balls, or a bunch of balls with one glowing stripe in them. Kinda disappointing. This is basically a one-day meh project, and then straight to the landfill. Wouldn’t brother recommending to buying again.
