Coolio Recorded Content for a 'Futurama' Cameo Before Untimely Death
Coolio tragically passed away at the age of 59 this week. However, his legacy will live on.
The rapper managed to record content for a planned cameo on the animated show Futurama mere weeks before his death, according to TMZ.

The show’s executive producer David X. Cohen reflected on working with the star. “Coolio was one of my favorite guests,” he said. “He was always totally upbeat and genuinely enjoyed coming in to record as his character Kwanzaa-bot.”
Coolio has history on Futurama. He first appeared on the series in 2001. In order to give him “”the best send-off we can,” an episode will be dedicated to him and will feature a rap.

Tributes have poured in for the hitmaker since his untimely death. That includes one from Michelle Pfeiffer, who appeared in the music video for Coolio‘s Grammy winning song “Gangsta’s Paradise.”
